I'm Reece Beauchamp
I am a Graphic and Web Designer from Edmonton, Alberta. At an early age I’ve always been drawn to computers and technology, my friends & family would always find me designing art or working on a project, whether it was learning how to code or designing social media my life in the digital world is where I belong.
My Story
I started my career 8 years ago working as a Graphic Designer for a Digital Marketing company. As my skills grew my interests led me down the path of becoming a Motion Graphic Designer, in this, I found my true passion which is designing and building beautiful websites.
Fast-forward to today and I’m living my dream. I started Alien Design in 2021 and my goal is to expand this company into a successful agency, that will be a one-stop-shop for all of your design needs.
I really enjoy helping new businesses find solutions whether it’s designing a brand, generating new business, or giving your existing website a brand-new facelift full of modern tools to help take your business to the next level. I will be there every step of the way.

INITIAL RESEARCH

SCOPE
- Identify required technical functionality
- Define technical scope
- Document detailed scope outline
ARCHITECTURE
- Assemble & classify content types
- Define content hierarchy & flow
- Create page outlines for main pages
- Create sitemap & architecture
WIREFRAMES
- Establish a visual hierarchy and placement of content
- Lay out the home and main pages using a responsive grid
- Produce a static or live low-fidelity wireframe
- The test user experience of the design with form and functionality
DESIGN
- Review client’s brand standards
- Identify colors and fonts
- Determine overall visual look and feel, design mockups, and mood board
- Using wireframes, design high-fidelity wireframe
- Design main pages based on the approved homepage
- Create a visual asset like buttons, call to action(s)
- Produce illustration or photography if needed
- Make final design files & visual assets
DEVELOPMENT
- Setup Content Management System
- Build theme & pages templates
- Install & configure needed plugins
- Program any custom functionality
- Customize back-end
POPULATE
- Migrate content including text, visuals & attachments
- Add links & functionality to content
- Proofread & edit where required
TEST
- Test performance on different devices & platforms
- Quality control check for any bugs, test code for speed, efficiency & reliability
- A/B Testing forms, downloads, emails, full hyperlink test
- Optimize and adjust as needed
- Assign user roles and train client on CMS
